The worst kept secret from the last few days is out: Black Sabbath are back and they are the second headliners announced for the 10th edition of The Download Festival, Download 2012. Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Gezer Butler and Bill Ward announced yesterday at a press conference in California that they would be embarking on a 2012 world tour which will kick off with them closing the festival at Download 2012 on Sunday June 10th. The band have also announced plans for the first new album from the original Black Sabbath line up in more than 30 years. Black Sabbath join Metallica who were announced as the first headliners for Download 2012 24 hours earlier. Tickets for Download 2012 will go on sale Friday 18th of November!!!
